Part 1 Let's eat! Halal emergency food

Are you familiar with the word "Halal"?

Halal is an Islamic term that refers to what God and the Prophet Mohammad permitted for Muslims (those who believe in Islam) in the Qur'an (the holy book of Islam) and Hadith (the sayings and deeds of the Prophet Mohammad).

In the first part of the program, participants will learn about Islam and Halal foods while tasting Halal emergency food.

Part 2 Let's know about disaster

Lecturer: Hisamoto Kuroki (disaster prevention advisor)

We will learn what actions each of us should take before and after a sudden tremor or evacuation, and what we should know about language barriers and cultural/religious issues that may arise in the event of a disaster.
