About ALECE

Alece Takaoka aims to become a human resource who can achieve self-actualization by young people (CLD young people) who are linguistically and culturally diverse by going on to school, etc., as a bridge between Japan and its roots, and as a member of the local community. We provide learning and information support. Achieving a multicultural symbiotic society that accepts diverse values, cultures and customs, and changes and develops together is essential for revitalizing rural areas that face issues such as aging, population decline, and economic stagnation. Alece Takaoka aims at regional revitalization centered on the education of CLD youth.

-Activity content-

Alece Takaoka started a learning support classroom for CLD youth in 2010, aiming to advance to higher education. Since then, the range of activities has gradually expanded, and we are advancing the projects with two pillars: learning support and education-related information support.

Learning support project:

・Learning support classes are held twice a week

・Production of multilingual subject learning videos

(Collaboration with Takaoka Koryo High School International Club)

Information support project:

・Creation of multilingual materials related to childrearing, education, and career design   (Toyama Prefecture International Division Contract project)
